What is an interview portal?

Modified on Mon, 23 Jan, 2023 at 7:13 PM

After selecting the interviewer for the interview stage, an email will be triggered and sent to the interviewer which includes the interview details and a link to the interview portal. The login credentials will be also sent along with this mail (for the first time). The interviewer can then click on the link and use the credentials to login to the interview portal.

The interview portal includes

  1. A list of all the upcoming interviews assigned to the logged-in user. This portal also tracks all the interviews and reviews that have been completed and signed off by the interviewer in the past.

Scheduled: The Scheduled tab lists down all the upcoming interviews and reviews that have been assigned to the logged-in interviewer. You can use the filter to view the interviews and reviews separately.

Pending: In many cases, there may be more than one interviewer in the panel. In such cases, both interviewers need to agree on the same score and decision. If only one interviewer has scored and commented on the candidate, the interview will be listed in the Pending tab as the other interviewer(s) have not signed off yet.

An interview will move from the Pending tab to the Completed tab only if all the interviewers have agreed and signed off on the same scores and decision.

CompletedWhen the scores and decisions against a candidate are updated, the interview will be considered completed. This interview will then be listed under the Completed tab.You can view the completed interviews and reviews under the completed tab in separate sections.

  1. Meeting lobby

On the meeting lobby, interviewers can click on Start Scoring to score the interview. Before scoring they can also check out the job details and candidate profile. If the candidate failed to appear for the interview, interviewers can select the Mark As No Show option.

  1. Candidate profile

The candidate profile shows a 360° view of the candidate. It includes the candidate’s personal details, previous assessment details, and documents if any.

  1. Share details

This option is displayed only if the interview is a technical interview. The recruiter decides if it is a technical interview or not while creating a job. This option is to share any messages or documents to the candidate with regard to the technical assessments.

  1. Calendar

All interview schedules, including the future and previous schedules,  can be viewed on the right side of the home page. You can select a date from the calendar to view the schedules of that particular day.
