How to Calculate Credit Usage in ZappyVue

Modified on Tue, 2 Jul at 5:46 AM

This guide explains how to calculate and manage credits in ZappyVue.

Start by logging into the ZappyVue. Here, you can find the number of remaining credits displayed on the top right corner of the screen.

Credit Calculation

Step 1: Navigate to the Create Interview form. A small window displays the credit calculation details. The system automatically calculates the credits based on the number of questions added and the answering time allotted to candidates.

The credit calculation for a single candidate interview is done by multiplying the number of questions with the answering time for a question i.e.,

Credit per candidate invite = No of questions x Answering time per question.

Step 2: For this example, three questions from the library are added and the answering time for a question is 1 minute. The system automatically updates the credit calculation, 3x1= 3 credits will be deducted per candidate invite.

Step 3: You can edit the answering time per question. Click on edit timing or scroll down the page to make changes.

Credit calculation while Interview Publishing

Go to the publish interview tab. Here, you can see how many candidates can be invited based on the remaining credits.

The invite limit details are on the right side of the publish interview tab. For instance, with 6 credits per candidate invite and a total of 89 credits, 14 candidates (Total credits remaining ÷ Credits consumed (per candidate) can be invited.

Upon publishing the interview, the corresponding credits are deducted from the balance.

Managing Credits

Credits are utilised or deducted at the time of publishing the interview.

Credits can be reimbursed in the following cases:

  1. Revoking the candidate's invitation

  2. Deleting the candidate (only admins can delete candidates)

  3. Deleting the interview (only admins can delete interviews)

  4. If the interview is closed, either automatically or manually credits of those candidates that have no attempted the interview is reimbursed.
