In certain situations, you may need to revoke an offer extended to a candidate due to various reasons, such as budget cuts, project changes, or discovering unfavorable information about the candidate. If you have already shared the offer letter with the candidate, Zappyhire allows you to revoke the offer.
Please note that the revoke option is available only for candidates in the Offer Letter Issued stage of the job, and you must have the HR role in Zappyhire ATS to perform this action.
Steps to revoke the offer
Step 1: Access the job page and go to the Offer Letter Issued stage where the candidate is listed.
Step 2: Click on the three dots next to the candidate to open the action list
Step 3: From the list, select the Revoke Offer Letter option.
The Revoke Offer Letter panel will open.
Step 4: In the Comment box, provide your message. This comment is mandatory and will be recorded internally. It can only be viewed by ATS users with access to the candidate's details page.
Step 5: Choose whether to notify the candidate by selecting the appropriate option below "Do you want to notify the candidate?".
If you choose the "Yes, Notify Candidate" option, a mail notification will be sent to the candidate. You can also include a personalized message to be included in the email. Please provide the message you would like to send to the candidate in the Message to Candidate box.
Step 6: Once you have completed the above steps, click the Revoke Offer Letter button at the bottom to finalize the process.
Hiring managers and the assigned recruiter for the job will be informed via email about the offer revocation.
