What is the offer stage?

Modified on Tue, 26 Dec, 2023 at 4:47 PM

If the candidate completed all the interview stages, the candidate is pushed to the offer stage where the offer letter is issued. Here you can draft the provisional offer letter and the final offer letter (if enabled). Before drafting the provisional offer letter, the salary details have to be added. The salary details added will be included in the provisional offer letter.

The offer stage has four stages:

1. Ready for offer:

Step 1: After updating the offer letter, click on draft offer to draft the provisional offer letter.

Step 2: Pick offer letter and covering letter templates.

Step 3: Enter details under the editable fields and click on save and preview.

Step 4: Check the offer letter and close. You can also download the offer letter by clicking on the download option.

Step 5: If you want to reissue the offer letter, click on the three dots and select the reissue option.

Step 6: Submit the offer letter for approval. Select the offer approvers and click on submit approval.

The candidate will be moved to the next stage.

2. Submitted for approval:

Once the offer is submitted for single or multi level approval and approved the respective approvers, Click on the share candidate option to share the offer letter with the candidate.

A mail will be sent to the candidate, with the hiring team as cc recipients, informing the job status along with the offer letter. The candidate can login to the candidate portal and make a decision or inform the recruiter via mail.

3. Offer letter issued:

Step 1: If the candidate has not taken a decision through candidate portal, the recruiter can update the candidate decision on ATS. To update the candidate decision, click on the three dots and click on update candidate decision.

Step 2: Select the candidate decision, write a comment and click on submit.

Step 3: Click on Draft Final Offer letter to draft the final offer letter.

4. Final offer letter status:

Step 1: Follow the previous steps for drafting the offer letter.

Step 2: Click on share with candidate to share the offer letter with the candidate and update the candidate decision if no action if taken by the candidate through candidate portal.

Once the offer stage is completed, if the offer letter is accepted by the candidate, the recruiter can proceed with the onboarding stage.
