How to add a default department recruiter?

You can add a default recruiter for a department and the default recruiter will be auto-selected when a user selects the department while creating a new requisition.

How to add a default recruiter?

To add a default recruiter for a department, follow the steps below


Step 1: Log in to Zappyhire ATS as a user with the Administrator role.


Step 2: Open the Settings page, and go to Company Hierarchy > Departments.

A. For a new department, 


Step 1: Click on the Add Department button.


The Add Department panel will open.


Step 2: On the panel, the option One by One will be selected under “How would you like to add Departments”.


Step 3: Enter the department details on the panel.


The field to add the default recruiter, “Recruiter”,  will be present at the bottom of the panel.


Step 4: Select a recruiter from the Recruiter list, for the new department.


Step 5: Click on Save to add the new department, with the default recruiter.



B. For bulk upload


Step 1: Click on the Add Department button.


The Add Department panel will open


Step 2: On the panel, select the option Bulk Upload under “How would you like to add Departments”.


Step 3: From the Bulk Upload panel, download the Excel template.


The column to add the default recruiter, “Lead Recruiter Email ID”,  will be present on the Excel template.


Step 4: Enter the default recruiter for the departments in the “Lead Recruiter Email ID” column.



Step 5: Save the departments on the template and upload the template.


Step 6: Click on Save to add the departments.



C. For existing departments


Step 1: Click on the three dots next to the department


Step 2: Select the Edit Department option.


The Edit Department panel will open


Step 3: Enter the recruiter name on the “Recruiter field and click on Save.


Note: 

1. The Recruiter field is an optional field. You can remove the default recruiter for a department if needed.

2. The default recruiter will be auto-selected only while creating a new requisition, and the user can edit or remove the recruiter from the requisition.


Who can add the default recruiter?

Only the administrator can add the default recruiter, as the Settings page can be accessed only by the users with the administrator role.
