How to customize your career page?

Modified on Sat, 1 Apr, 2023 at 12:43 AM

The design and content of your careers page play a major role in how candidates perceive your company and whether or not they go on to apply. Zappyhire provides the option to customize your career page to accurately reflect your company and stand out from the crowd of employers.

To customize your career page, go to Settings > Appearance and Branding > Career site.

Here, you can change the Career page title, description, background image, logo, and colors associated with them. The background image or logo image uploaded should be less than 10 MB in size.

Click on the Preview Career Site to preview the career page once you have made the customizations. To save the changes, click on the Save button at the end of the page.

Along with these customizations, you can add the website URL and social media URLs of your organization which will be displayed at the bottom of the career page.

How to add a custom domain?

In addition to a custom website URL and custom social media URLs, Zappyhire provides the option of creating a custom domain for your organization’s career page. You can follow the steps given below to add your custom domain.

Step 1: Create a subdomain that matches your website. For eg: if your website is "www.zappyhire.com" then a domain like "career.zappyhire.com" might be the custom domain for your career domain.

Step 2: Add your custom domain URL in the text field, and click on Save.

Step 3: Click on the Configure button near the Custom Domain and a popup will open. (If the Configure button is not present, please ensure you have provided both a valid website URL and a custom domain URL)

Step 4: In the pop-up, there will be a URL present for you to create as a CNAME record pointing to your career domain URL. Click on Copy and the URL will be copied to your system's clipboard.

Step 5: Go to your domain provider website like GoDaddy, AWS, or whichever service you use for managing your domain DNS.

Step 6: Create a CNAME record pointing to the copied URL and your custom domain URL.

Step 7: After creating the CNAME entry, log in to Zappyhire ATS.

Step 8: Go to Settings > Custom Domain > Configure Custom Domain

Step 9: Click on the Configure button again and then click on Complete Configuration.

Note: Click on Complete Configuration only after completing all the above steps If you are not familiar with this procedure, please contact your IT support
