How to add a new candidate source?

Businesses need to hire the most qualified talent for every role to stay competitive and grow. Zappyhire provides multiple ways of sourcing candidates which include a customizable career page, a referral portal for employee referrals, and a Consultant portal through which your job consultants can upload candidates. You can also integrate your desired social media platforms and job boards for sourcing candidates. 


When a recruiter uploads a candidate directly on the job page or candidate repository, it is required to mention the candidate source. While uploading, the recruiter can simply select the candidate source from the Candidate Source list. If you want to include a new source in the list, you can add the data from the settings page. Only a user with the administrator role has access to the settings page.


To add a new candidate source,


Step 1: Go to Settings > Candidate.


Step 2: Under Candidate Source, click on Add Candidate Source.


Step 3: You can add candidate sources one by one, or use the Bulk Upload option.

Step 4: To add the source one by one, enter the source on the field provided and click on Save.


Step 5: To use Bulk upload, follow the template provided.


Steps to add in bulk


1. Click on “Download template for bulk upload” to download the excel template.


2. Enter the names in the excel sheet and upload the sheet in the below space. 

3. Finally, click Save to complete the process.
