How to find similar candidates?

Every once in a while you would come across an excellent candidate, one who fits almost every criterion you are looking for, but cannot proceed due to not meeting some conditions. In such cases, similar candidate detection is done to find candidates who exist in the database with similar traits. This new feature will help recruiters to make decisions faster, build stronger recruitment pipelines, find the best-suited candidates, and close positions sooner.

The parameters to calculate the similarity of the two candidates include experience, education, and skill. Similar candidates will be scored accordingly and displayed in the manner that the candidates with the higher score will appear at the top of the list. The list will show the candidates' names, email IDs, phone no:s, skills, experiences, academics, jobs they are mapped to(you can click on the job to view the candidate details page of that job), candidate status (active, mapped to other jobs, rejected, or hired but not joined), candidate source, candidate created date, chatbot status and chatbot last updated date. 

Note: The selected candidate should have enough data to check the similarity with other candidates.

Steps to find similar candidates,

Step 1: Locate the candidate for which you want to find similar candidates.

Step 2: If you want to find similar candidates,

1. From the View job page: Click on the three dots against the candidate and select the Find Similar Candidates option.

2. From the Candidate profile(candidate details page): Click on the Find Similar Candidates option below the candidate name.

A list of candidate profiles similar to the selected candidate will be displayed.

Step 3: From the list of candidates displayed, find the candidates you find most suitable and click on the: 

• Map to Job option to map that candidate to the current job.

On clicking on this option, the name and ID of the job to which the candidate will be mapped will be displayed along with options to notify recruiters, collaborators, and the candidate. Once the notify options are selected click on Map. The selected people will be informed about this action via mail.

• Initiate chatbot option to collect details from the candidate. Selecting this option will initiate the data enrichment chatbot for the candidate.

Step 4:  You can also give feedback by clicking Yes if the suggestion was helpful or No if it was not. 

If you select No, the selected candidate will not be included in future suggestions.
