Employee referral program is a recruiting strategy wherein the organization encourages their current employees to refer candidates from their circle of friends and family. Many companies even offer rewards in the form of referral bonuses to the employees when their referrals are hired.
For the employees to access the referral portal in Zappyhire, you will have to first add all the employees in Zappyhire. To add employees login in to Zappyhire Recruit and go to Settings > Employee management. Once the employees are added, they will receive an email with the login credentials and the URL of the referral portal.
Note : If an employee is the disabled state, they cannot login to the referral portal.
In the referral portal, an employee can view all the jobs that are open for employee referral. The employee can view the job details and refer one or more candidates for any of the jobs listed in the referral portal.
At the top, an overview of the jobs and candidates are displayed.
All jobs : Displays the total number of jobs that are listed in the referral portal.
Referrals : Displays the total number of candidates referred by the employee.
In progress : Displays the number of candidates that are still active in the recruitment process. They have not been hired or rejected by the recruiter yet.
Hired : Displays the number of candidates that are marked as hired/joined by the recruiter.
All the candidate related statistics displayed in the referral portal is solely about the candidates referred by the logged in employee. The referral portal does not consider the other active candidates in this job.
The job list consists of three tabs - Referrals, Referral History and IJP (Internal Job Posting).
The Referrals tab lists all the jobs that are open for referral. The employee can refer one or more candidates to the jobs listed here by clicking on the Refer Candidate button displayed on the right side of a job.
The Referral History tab lists all the jobs which are in closed status but to which the logged in employee has referred candidates previously.
The IJP tab lists all the jobs that are open for existing employees to apply to. Through IJP (Internal Job Posting), the employees can refer themselves to a job opening in the company.
Each row displays the basic details of the job including the number of referrals added by the employee If any of the referrals are hired for the job, the number is displayed in the column 'Referrals Uploaded'
