What is the ineligible candidate list?

Modified on Fri, 22 Dec, 2023 at 1:33 PM

A candidate can apply or get referred to the job through the career page using the Job Application Bot. The bot will then check the candidate details with the requirement and find if the candidate is eligible or not. After checking, if eligible, the candidate is moved to the screened stage. From this stage, the HR and hiring manager can shortlist the candidate. If not, the candidate is moved to the Ineligible candidates list. To view ineligible candidates list:

Step 1: Go to the Jobs page. Search the job in the search box and click on the job.

Step 2: Click on the Ineligible Candidates icon to view the Ineligible Candidates list.

The list will have the candidate details and the reason for the candidate to be ineligible will be specified. You can also take actions such as make the candidate eligible, put the candidate on hold or reject the candidate.

Actions

Mark as eligible: When a candidate is marked as eligible, the candidate will move to the Screened stage.

Put on hold: When a candidate is on hold, the candidate will remain on the Ineligible list and shows the On-Hold status.

You can change your decision by choosing a different action from the three-dot action list. The action list of a candidate on hold will show options to Mark the candidate as eligible, remove from on hold, reject and send no rejection mail, and reject and send mail.

Reject(no-mail): Selecting this option will reject the candidate, but the rejection mail will not be sent to the candidate.

The rejected candidate will be present in both ineligible list and Rejected candidates list. From both the lists, you can send the rejection mail to the candidate.

From the ineligible list, you can also change the rejection status and put the candidate on hold, or mark the candidate as eligible.

Reject and send mail: The Reject and send mail option will reject and send the rejection mail to the candidate.

Same as Reject(no mail), the candidate will be present in both neligible list and Rejected candidates list. If you want to reconsider the candidate, you can put the candidate on hold or mark the candidate as eligible.
