What are the different requisition statuses?

On the requisition dashboard, there are multiple tabs that groups the requisitions based on their statuses.

They are,

Active: Displays all the requisitions which are currently in the active status. This indicates that the requisitions are fully approved. Jobs can only be created for requisitions that are in the active status. You can close the active requisition or put the requisition on hold.

Approval Pending: All the requisitions that are sent for approval are displayed in this tab. Partially approved requisitions are also listed here. No jobs can be created for these requisitions as it is still under the approval process. However, you can edit or delete the requisition.

Rejected: When a requisition approver rejects a requisition it moves to the Rejected tab. The requisition admin can edit and resubmit the requisition for approval or delete the requisition.

Fulfilled: While creating a requisition the number of open positions are specified. When a candidate is hired for a job, they are marked as "Joined". When the no of joined candidates = to the no of positions set for a requisition, it indicates that all the positions are filled. At this point the requisition and all the jobs related to it are automatically closed. The requisition is in the fulfilled status now. These requisitions cannot be reopened or edited. No action can be taken on any jobs or candidates once the requisition is fulfilled, but approvers and interviewers can take an action on any pending interviews and offer letters assigned. The hiring team (HM, Recruiters and collaborators) will be notified by email when a requisition is fulfilled.

Closed: Requisition admins can close requisitions at any time. When you close a requisition, all jobs related to the requisition will be automatically closed. It will no longer be visible on the career site. If there are any pending action items related to the jobs of that requisition, it must be cancelled before closing the requisition. You can automatically cancel these while closing the requisition or manually cancel each task and then close the requisition. Only the admin can reopen a closed requisition.

On Hold: Requisition admins can put an active requisition on hold to pause the hiring for all jobs related to that requisition. When you put a requisition on hold, all jobs related to the requisition will be automatically put on hold. It will no longer be visible on the career site and all applications will be paused. To restart the hiring process, the requisition admin can resume the requisition. All the jobs will reappear on the career page and applicants can continue applying for jobs.
